Overview of the developer portal

A developer portal is a web-based platform that allows developers to access documentation, tools, and resources related to an API (Application Programming Interface). It is an essential component of API development and enables developers to learn about the API's features, understand how to use it, and create applications that integrate with it.

Creating an account

To access the resources on a developer portal, you need to create an account. Typically, the process involves providing basic information like name, email address, and creating password. Here are the steps to create a new account with us:

(1) Go to the Developer Portal website.

(2) Look for a link named "Sign-In" on the upper right corner of the page.

(3) Click on this link to access the login page.

(4) On the login page, look for a link named "Create Account" and click on it.

(5) Choose a unique username for your account. We recommend using the format

{{Company Name, no spaces}}-MMYYYY-{{Environment}}

For example, if your company name is "Demo LLC" and you are registering for a Sandbox/Test Environment in January 2023, an ideal username would be demollc-012023-test, demollc-012023-sand, or demo-012023-test. For Production, you can use demollc-012023-prod or demo-012023-prod, or demo-012023-live.

(6) After entering the username, click on "Proceed to Self Register".

(7) Fill in your personal information including your first name, last name, business email address, company name, contact phone number, country, URL, and desired password. Please leave the "Account State" and "Account Locked" fields empty.

(8) Once you have read and agreed to our privacy policy, click on the captcha box (I'm not a robot) and check the confirmation checkbox and click on "Register".

(9) You will receive an email at the email address you provided for verification.

(10) Follow the instructions in the email to verify your account. Once verified, you can log in to the Developer Portal and access the services.
